Education:

Bachelor of Science in Food and Nutrition or related science.; registered by the Commission of Dietetic Registration; licensed by the state of North Carolina to practice dietetics, required. +

Experience:

Two years experience as RD in diabetes or related field, preferred. +

Licensure/Certification:

+ Certified Diabetes Care and Education Specialist (CDCES) , preferred. + Refer to Life Support Training Policy

diabetes credit hrs annually, required. + Registered Dietitian status by the Commission on Dietetic Registration, required. + Licensed Dietitian in the State of NC, required. + Additional Skills (required): Ability to successfully complete generic and department-specific skills validation and competency testing.
