EMS Coordinator Position Available In Rowan, North Carolina

Rowan-Cabarrus Community College is seeking a qualified and dedicated EMS Coordinator to provide administrative leadership and ensure quality oversight of all Emergency Medical Services (EMS) educational programs. This position requires a minimum instructional commitment of eight hours per week, teaching EMT, AEMT, and/or Paramedic courses. The EMS Coordinator will also serve as the Scope of Practice Administrator for these program levels.

Key responsibilities include:

Designing and developing instructional content and curriculum. Conducting class visits to support and evaluate instructional effectiveness. Managing course logistics, including course builds, grading, and official course closures. Actively contributing to the planning and delivery of EMS continuing education programs. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong organizational skills, a commitment to instructional excellence, and the ability to maintain compliance with all applicable regulatory and accreditation standards. Associates degree or higher in EMS or related public safety or allied health field North Carolina Paramedic Level I or higher EMS instructor credential At least two years of experience as an EMS provider and educator.•Preferred Bachelors degree or higher in EMS, education, or related public safety or allied health field. II NC EMS

Instructor with at least three years experience as an EMS provider and educator. Experience with instructional design, course development, and distance learning.
