Private Swim Lesson Instructor-Full/Part Time 3.4 3.4 out of 5 stars 775 Talamini Road, Bridgewater, NJ 08807 The Bridgewater JCC is hiring part time private lesson swim instructors for our full service facility located in Bridgewater, New Jersey. These positions are available for our Summer 2025 session which begins June 21st 2025.

Responsibilities include:

Teach private and semi-private swim lessons in 30-45 minute sessions. Evaluate potential students’ swimming ability. Develop and maintain weekly lesson plans for students and report progress to parent/caregiver. Work with students at individual pace while encouraging their progress.

Requirements are:

Comfortable and willing to work with students of all ages and abilities, including those in the special needs population. Current American Red Cross Water Safety Instructor (WSI) or two years’ teaching/competitive swimming experience. Training available for qualified candidate. CPR and Lifeguard Certification preferred. Training available for qualified candidate. Must possess good time management skills, good communication and customer service skills and strong organizational skills.
