Job Description:

Educator Pay Rate:

$16.00-$18.00 (based oneducation and experience)

Program Hours:

Monday through Friday from6:45 am – 8:35 am and 3:09 pm to 6:00 pm beginning with onlineclasses in August of the 2025/2026 school year You’ll drive themission by:

Daily Program Meetings:

Each day, review goals andupdates, share ideas, discuss professional progress, encouragecollaboration, and team accountability.

Organize and FacilitateDaily Activities :

Prepare activities and curriculum for the day,ensuring they align with the program’s objectives. Organize andlead structured daily fitness, activities, and curriculum; that areboth educational and enjoyable for all ages. Leading by

Maintain a safe and nurturing environment, ensuring children areenjoying themselves while also meeting program goals. You willachieve this by modeling positive guidance and effective classroommanagement.

Prioritize Safety and Joy:

Monitor the environment,address potential hazards, and follow all safety protocols. Thesemay include documenting attendance, incidents, and otherobservations.

Communication:

Effective communication with a variedaudience, including children, parents, staff, and school personnel.

Ideal Candidates will have the following: Outstanding customerservice and relationship-building skills Works well in a teamenvironment At least 1 year of experience working with childrenunder 13 years of age Ability to lift 25lbs Drive to inspire a lovefor learning and commitment to healthy living Flexibility tosupport additional local programs as needed

Connecticut StateRequirements:

Ability to meet state-specific requirements; FirstAid and CPR-in-person Cleared tuberculosis test Proof of MMR 18years of age Proof of High School diploma/GED required At leastfive hundred and forty (540) hours documented experience in workingwith unrelated children of the same age(s) to be served in thischild day care center or group daycare home Benefits Offered with
