The ideal candidate will be responsible for educating individuals in first aid, CPR, and emergency response techniques. This role requires a passion for teaching and the ability to communicate effectively with diverse audiences. As a First Aid Instructor, you will play a crucial role in enhancing the safety and preparedness of participants in various settings. Duties Develop and deliver engaging lesson plans that cover first aid, CPR, and emergency response techniques. Conduct hands-on training sessions that allow participants to practice skills in a safe environment. Assess participant understanding through practical demonstrations and written evaluations. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of first aid guidelines and best practices. Provide constructive feedback to participants to enhance their learning experience. Ensure all training materials and equipment are prepared and available for each class. Foster a positive learning atmosphere that encourages questions and participation. Collaborate with other instructors to improve course offerings and instructional methods. Skills Strong background in first aid, CPR, and emergency response techniques. Excellent public speaking skills with the ability to communicate complex information clearly. Experience in adult education or teaching, particularly in a classroom setting. Proficient in lesson planning and curriculum development tailored for various audiences. Ability to engage participants through effective communication and interpersonal skills. Familiarity with lifeguarding techniques is a plus; swimming proficiency may be required for certain training scenarios.
