This role requires a strong ability to educate and engage participants in a classroom setting, ensuring they acquire the necessary skills to respond effectively in emergency situations. The instructor will develop lesson plans, facilitate hands-on practice, and assess participant understanding through interactive teaching methods. Duties Conduct first aid and CPR training sessions for diverse audiences, including community members, corporate employees, and lifeguards. Create and implement lesson plans that align with established curriculum standards. Utilize effective public speaking techniques to communicate key concepts clearly. Facilitate hands-on practice sessions to ensure participants gain practical experience in first aid techniques. Assess participant performance and provide constructive feedback to enhance learning outcomes. Maintain a safe and supportive classroom environment that encourages questions and participation. Stay updated on the latest first aid protocols and teaching methodologies to ensure high-quality instruction. Skills Proficient in first aid techniques and CPR procedures. Strong communication skills, with the ability to convey information effectively to various audiences. Experience in adult education or training environments is preferred. Capable of public speaking with confidence and clarity. Knowledge of lesson planning and curriculum development for educational programs. Familiarity with lifeguard training principles is a plus.
