Scheduling Operator Digestive and Liver center of Florida 100 North Dean Road, Orlando, FL 32825 Job Summary We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Scheduler to join our C all Center team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for coordinating appointments, managing schedules, and ensuring efficient communication between patients and healthcare providers. This role requires strong attention to detail and the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities Coordinate and schedule patient appointments effectively, ensuring optimal use of time and resources. Utilize medical coding knowledge to accurately document patient information and procedures. Perform insurance verification to confirm coverage and eligibility prior to appointments. Maintain accurate records using electronic health information management systems, including Eaglesoft. Operate phone systems to communicate with patients, staff, and external partners efficiently. Assist in managing patient flow within the office to enhance overall service delivery. Provide support in data entry tasks, including 10 key typing for accurate record keeping. Collaborate with healthcare providers to ensure all necessary information is available for patient visits. Skills Proficiency in medical coding and understanding of health information management principles. Strong typing skills, particularly 10 key typing for efficient data entry. Familiarity with Eaglesoft or similar scheduling systems is preferred. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to manage phone systems effectively. Bilingual abilities are a plus, enhancing communication with diverse patient populations. Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks in a busy environment.
