Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Health Information Manager to lead and oversee HIM compliance, privacy, operations, and strategic planning. This role ensures regulatory compliance, drives process improvement, and collaborates with departments across the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead and manage HIM compliance, privacy, and revenue cycle functions Oversee HIM budget, staff performance appraisals, and workflow efficiency Supervise coding, abstracting, billing, scanning, indexing, and chart analysis Act as Medical Staff Secretary and Chair of Forms Committee Ensure compliance with HIPAA, privacy, and security regulations Conduct privacy investigations, maintain documentation, and serve as custodian of records Deliver staff training on HIPAA and compliance requirements Provide data analysis and reports to support decision-making across departments Maintain and update departmental policies, procedures, and job descriptions Serve as the point of contact for patient rights regarding health information

Requirements:
