Responsibilities:
Provides support treatment, care, and evaluation of patients on scene and during transport; arrives to the scene of an emergency, determines the situation, and develops a plan of action; uses appropraite medical equipment and comprehends the severity of the injury; monitors patient condistion and performs data collection; communicates findings and patient condition to primary Registered Staff Nurse;regular and prompt attendance; ability to work schedule as defined and overtime as required; related duties as required.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent, graduate of an EMT course, and licensed as an EMT in the state of Alabama. Current
ACLS/BLS
certification preferred.
