Serves as a supportive member of the patient care team who assist in routine and non complex aspects of patient care and other duties to support the operations of the Emergency Department. The ECT will assist the RN in the patient care process. ECT will greet patients and families as the enter they Emergency Department lobby. Qualifications Successful completion of Accredited EMS Program. Successfully passed the Psychomotor Skills Assessment and written exam for NREMT. Two years Advanced Life Support field experience. Must be cross trained in a minimum of two job classes i.e. Monitor Tech, PCT, Lab Tech with completion of Dual competencies. Current unencumbered license at the Advanced level through the ADPH office of EMS and Trauma. (Minimum of NREMT-A )
