Job Description
Overview ED Trauma Part Time Position 7pm-7am The Emergency Medical Technician performs and documents direct routine patient care under licensed provider’s supervision according to hospitals guidelines.
Qualifications Age of Patients Served:
All Age Groups.
Required Education:
High School Diploma or GED or Vocational Training Required Licensure/Certifications:
Current Florida EMT license
- OR•current Florida Paramedic license BLS from the
American Heart Association Required Experience:
Less than 1 of practical clinical experience.
Preferred Experience:
1 or more years previous experience in a health care environment.
Necessary Skills:
1. Knowledge of patient care and basic human needs within life span. 2. Knowledge of medical terminology 3. Knowledge of aseptic techniques 4. Knowledge of acute and chronic disease processes 5. Knowledge of standard universal precautions 6. Basic knowledge of anatomic structure and human body systems 7. Ability to recognize obvious job-related emergencies 8.
