(Two) 18 bed units provide a dynamic working environment specializing in Allogeneic and Autologous Blood and Marrow Transplant patients.
Position Highlights:
This position is PRN (Monday-Friday w/ Rotating Weekends) 3 (12hr) Shifts Night Shift The Ideal Candidate CNA with patient care experience in an acute care setting. Student currently enrolled in BSN program (must have completed Nursing Fundamentals course). 1 year of inpatient hospital experience (preferred)
Responsibilities:
Assist with activities of daily living and provide basic nursing care to patients Assist in the maintenance of a safe and clean environment under the direction and supervision of a Registered Nurse. Adheres to rules and regulations of all applicable local, state, and federal agencies and accrediting bodies.
Credentials and Qualifications:
High School Diploma/GED Florida CNA License OR active enrollment in Nursing program (must have completed Nursing Fundamentals course) . Basic Life Support (BLS)
Minimal Required:
0-1 year experience with CNA License or Nursing Fundamentals completed, actively enrolled in nursing program and provide transcripts every semester.
Additional Skills/Specialized Training Required:
Successful completion of Moffitt’s Oncology Technician orientation and checklist within the first ninety days of employment. Basic Familiarity with Nursing procedures and knowledge of medical terminology Fundamental computer skills Demonstrated communication, organization, and critical thinking skills

West Schedule:
PRN (As Needed), Night Shift, 7p-730am; some weekends
