$17.84 – $23.19 •Sign on bonus for eligible candidates•Summary Provides advanced technician support to the Pharmacist in the preparation, dispensing, distribution, and control of medications throughout the facility. Practices as a technician role model and assists in the orientation and training of department personnel as assigned. All job duties shall be performed in accordance with all applicable State and Federal laws, regulatory agency standards, professional practice standards, and policies and procedures of the health system/pharmacy department. Requirements Educational Requirements Degree/Diploma Obtained Program of Study Required/ Preferred and/or High School Diploma or Equivalent Required or GED Required Experience Requirements Minimum Years Required Area of Experience Required/ Preferred and/or 2 Years Pharmacy Technician Preferred Additional Requirements 2 years Hospital pharmacy experience required. State of Florida Licensure Requirements Licenses Required/ Preferred and/or Registered Pharmacy Technician License Required Certifications/Registration Requirements Certificates/Registrations Required/ Preferred and/or CPhT (Certified Pharmacy Technician) Required Additional Requirements CphT (Certified Pharmacy Technician) with national Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB) required. Registered Pharmacy Technician with Florida Department of Health required. ExCPT certification may be accepted on a case-by-case basis.
