Full Job Description Position Overview:
We are hiring experienced Radiology Technicians (Rad Techs) for immediate deployment to support diagnostic operations at temporary correctional or shelter-based facilities in South Florida. These W2 contract roles are contingent upon contract award and include on-site housing and meals . Radiology Technicians will perform essential imaging services to support patient assessment and care in a fast-paced, secure environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Operate X-ray and digital imaging equipment according to clinical protocols Prepare patients for imaging procedures and ensure safety compliance Capture and process diagnostic images as requested by medical providers Maintain radiographic equipment and clean exam areas Manage patient data, records, and image storage Follow all safety, infection control, and privacy regulations Collaborate with medical and support staff on diagnostic needs Maintain professionalism in high-pressure situations
Assignment Details:
W2 Temporary Assignment (no benefits) Housing and meals included on base (no per diem or travel reimbursement) 84 hours/week – 12-hour shifts, 7 days/week
Rotational Schedule:
2-3 weeks on / 1 week off
Project Duration:
Up to 12 months
Qualifications:
Active Florida Radiologic Technologist license (required) Minimum 1 year of recent diagnostic imaging experience Must be able to pass a background check Able to deploy on short notice Physically capable of working long shifts in challenging conditions Proficient in English (spoken and written) BLS certification required Be a part of a high-impact medical response team supporting vulnerable populations.
