PRN Patient Care Technician (PCT) Christus Cabrini Surgery Center is a multispecialty surgical facility dedicated to providing exceptional patient care. Located in the heart of Alexandria, LA, we pride ourselves on delivering efficient, compassionate, and high-quality care to our patients and their families. We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Patient Care Technician to join our Pre Op/Post Op team.
Job Responsibilities:
Assist nurses and medical staff in providing excellent care to patients in the PreOp and Post Op areas. Take, monitor and document vital signs, patient observations, and recovery progress. Ensure patient comfort and safety during pre- and post-operative care. Prepare and maintain patient care areas, ensuring cleanliness and readiness. Provide oral fluids to the patient per nurse instructions Communicate effectively with the healthcare team and provide support as needed.
