Per Diem:
16 shifts in 6 months. At least 1-2 weekend shifts a month. 8 hour shifts minimum. Weekend and Holiday Rotation. Job Summary Summary The Unit Service Technician provides a broad range of care and services to Patients, including but not to limited to EKG, phlebotomy, equipment cleaning, and stocking of rooms under the supervision of a licensed nurse. The Unit Service Technician performs a wide range of secretarial duties, including but not limited to organizing paperwork, answering the phone, paging, and receiving of ED patients into electronic medical record. The Unit Service Technician will perform 1:1 sitting when necessary. The Unit Service Technician of the ED will also assure the practice of the Patient and Family Centered Care Model in an environment that exemplifies best practice.
