Eligible candidates are hired (offer accepted) into a Full or Part time position. Bonus amount prorated for Part time hires, per diem hires are ineligible.

Summary:

Pen Bay Hospital is seeking a full time Pharmacy Technician to join their team! The position consists of 40 hours per week and will include a rotation of days and evenings.
Working in a supportive role under the direct supervision of the Pharmacist, the Pharmacy Technician – Acute Care role performs a variety of duties relating to medication preparation, storage, distribution, disposition, and related clerical tasks.
Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)

Education:

High school diploma or GED certificate preferred. Associate’s Degree preferred.

License/Certifications:

Current or eligible for applicable state(s) license as a Pharmacy Technician. CPhT or PTCB certificate preferred.

Experience:

Experience as a pharmacy technician or other healthcare related position preferred.
