Full Job Description Summary of Responsibilities:
As an Hospital Integration Technician at AIS RealTime, you will play a crucial role in the maintenance, installation, and repair of Real-Time Location System (RTLS) hardware. This position demands a commitment to excellence in customer service and satisfaction. The role includes travel opportunities, with up to 50% nationally.
Essential Responsibilities:
Install and maintain structured cabling, troubleshoot, and commission Low Voltage Systems. Pull, route, install, and terminate structured cabling in commercial environments. Interface professionally with clients, adhering to AIS RealTime Hospital Etiquette. Organize and prioritize work, proactively solving problems with minimal supervision. Respond maturely to interpersonal team challenges, demonstrating sensitivity to the needs of team members. Identify and communicate implementation issues at customer sites to the Customer Service Engineer (CSE) or Customer Service Manager (CSM). Accurately record tasks, hours, and performance metrics. Perform post-implementation activities, achieving 50 successful LBI swaps per day throughout hospital facilities. Follow project plans and directions from the Customer Service Manager. Document and organize customer job files. Perform installations according to documented prodeedure. Utilize tools and software as required by the job.
Essential Requirements and Qualifications:
Education:
Minimum High School Diploma.
Training:
On-the-job training provided with many opportunities for training to become engineer level certified in may different processes of installing and maintaining RTLS networks.
Experience:
Proficiency in Windows 10 and advanced use of MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
Other Information:
Valid driver’s license with a good driving record. Must pass a random drug screens and background checks. Ability to work in a healthcare setting and obtain necessary vaccinations.
Physical capability:
Lift, move, and transport up to 25 lbs. of equipment; walk up to 4 miles daily; able to climb a 3-step ladder; kneel, stoop, crouch, bend, and reach. Efficient communication skills for interacting with team members, partners, and customers.
