Black Mountain Neuro-Medical Treatment Center (BMNTC) is currently accepting applications for a Health Care Technician II (Lead) on Unit R2 – 1st Shift.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following: scheduling staff and ensuring proper coverage of the residential unit
formulating daily staff assignments with collaboration from the Nurse Unit Manager
providing on-the-job training and mentoring for HCT I’s and providing information to groups of staff relating to the operation of the unit and care of the residents
coordinating HCT I staff within the residential unit to assist with medical appointments, off-campus activities, leisure activities and to provide backup support to other residential units as needed
assisting the Nurse Unit Manager with HCT I interviews as requested
assisting nursing staff as requested
taking initiative and remaining flexible are necessary to meet/exceed the needs of our residents, families, and staff

ABOUT BLACK MOUNTAIN NEURO-MEDICAL TREATMENT CENTER

Black Mountain Neuro-Medical Treatment Center is one of three state operated facilities serving adults with chronic and complex medical conditions that co-exist with neurodevelopmental or neurocognitive disorders often related to a diagnosis of severe and persistent mental illness or intellectual disability. The health and physical status of these residents require 24-hour supervision, daily nursing care, and assistance with activities of daily living.
