This AT WILL position receives supervision from the Team Leader and Project Manager, responds to emergency calls 24/7, and ensures the proper setup and monitoring of equipment.

Job Description

  • DEFINITION
  • This position is responsible for cleaning water, fire, smoke, and storm damaged commercial properties.

The position handles demolition work, structure cleaning, move ins/move outs, and assists the Lead Mitigation Technician on all water damage claims, carpet cleaning and floor cleaning jobs and fire and smoke damage claims. This position is also expected to be able to set up and monitor the appropriate equipment and length of time needed to complete the project. This is an AT WILL position.

  • Receives direction and supervision from the Team Leader and Project Manager.
  • ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF THE POSITION
  • Has the ability to travel with National Team and remain at location throughout the life of the project.

Responds to emergency calls and is available 24/7/365Extracts water from flooded structures using commercial extraction equipment; removes water damaged materialsAssists in determining the most effective way to dry the affected materialsPerforms demolition after fire, water/flood, mold or storm damageProvides Logistical Support for TeamCoordinates with other departments and office staff to complete projects, paperwork and keep the processes timely for each projectAssists the office staff, the production management staff and sales staff, as neededCompletes, reviews and routes forms, applications and other paperworkDemonstrates a positive image of the Company to staff and clients; this shall include oral and written communication and visual presentationRemoves carpet, carpet pads, drywall and insulation, as necessaryHauls debris from jobsiteMoves customer contents from work area, as neededStages drying equipmentPerforms cleaning duties for structural fires utilizing appropriate equipment and productsMaintains deadlines for content and cleaning projectsTracks the drying process with a proprietary software programPrepares trucks and equipment for emergenciesAssesses damage at the clients property and attends to itSets up and monitors equipmentTakes pictures and documents progress of loss in PSA/EncircleEnsures proper maintenance of vehicles and equipmentEnsures that all assigned personnel are thoroughly trained in their duties and responsibilities, including safety precautionsMaintains physical fitness and has no health issues that would interfere with the physical demands and/or conditions with the work environments customary for this type of workFollows established safety guidelines and protocolsOther duties as assigned

  • WORKING CONDITIONS
  • Employees may interact with upset staff and/or public and private representatives in interpreting and enforcing departmental policies and procedures.

Employee may be subject to uncomfortable working conditions including exposure to extreme heat or cold, dust, noise, unusual heights, wet conditions, confined spaces, electrical currents and construction hazards. The employee frequently works near moving mechanical parts and is frequently exposed to wet and/or humid conditions and vibration. The employee occasionally works in high, precarious places ad is occasionally exposed to fumes, airborne particles, toxic or caustic chemicals and may be at risk of electrical shock if not careful. Employees may often work in an office environment with moderate noise levels, controlled temperature conditions, and no direct exposure to hazardous physical substances.
