Job Description

Med Tech Integrity Senior Healthcare Management 612 Health Drive, Raeford, NC 28376 Overview We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Medical Technician to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing high-quality care to patients, particularly those with developmental disabilities and in assisted living settings. This position requires a strong understanding of medical procedures, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with healthcare professionals. Responsibilities Perform tube feeding and ensure proper administration according to patient needs. Assist in the care of individuals with developmental disabilities, providing support and encouragement. Deliver care in assisted living and acute care environments, adapting to the specific needs of each patient. Maintain accurate medical records using systems such as Epic to ensure seamless patient care. Conduct catheter care and other essential medical procedures while adhering to safety protocols. Collaborate with nurses and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans. Utilize anatomy knowledge to assess patient conditions and provide appropriate interventions. Participate in training sessions and professional development opportunities to enhance skills. Requirements Proven experience working in a medical or healthcare setting, preferably as a Medical Technician or similar role. Strong knowledge of anatomy and medical procedures related to tube feeding, catheter care, and acute care practices. Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities is highly desirable. Familiarity with electronic medical records systems, particularly Epic, is a plus. Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with patients, families, and team members. Ability to work independently as well as part of a multidisciplinary team.
