The Dialysis Hospital Services PatientCare Technician, (CCHT) provides care to patients with end-stagerenal disease, supporting hospital staff throughout the dialysistreatment process to deliver prescribed treatments. Our PCTs are anintegral part of the interdisciplinary team in ensuring safe careand the highest quality outcomes for every patient. This positionis part of our Greenville Hospital Services hemodialysis unit.
Schedule:
Full-time, four 10-hour shifts starting at 5am; Sundaysoff; no overnight shifts
Compensation:
Pay range from $16.00-$25.50per hour, depending on experience.

Responsibilities What You Can Expect:
Actively participate in infection control, risk management andpatient education activities Guide new patients through 120-dayeducation plan Obtain and record patient vital signs and machinereadings during treatment Role under RN supervision Set up andbreak down dialysis blood system for treatment Insert and removepatient access needles Monitor patients during dialysis, documentchanges and inform charge nurse of any concerns Calculate patient’sweight loss to reach dry weight Determine patient care prioritiesand organize work load accordingly Maintain professional workingrelationship, observing patient privacy and rights Maintain andtrack inventory Perform laboratory work
