BHT-ABA (Behavior Health Technician-ABA) Committed to Kids ABA Empowered by Finni Health Hatboro, PA 19040 Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Behavior Health Technician-ABA to join our team. In this role, you will work closely with children and their families to implement individualized treatment plans based on Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) principles. Your primary focus will be to support children with behavioral challenges, helping them achieve their goals in a safe and nurturing environment. This position requires a strong understanding of behavioral health and the ability to work collaboratively with other professionals. Duties Implement individualized behavior intervention plans under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) or Behavior Consultant-ABA (BC-ABA). Collect and analyze data on client behaviors to monitor progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary. Provide direct support to children during therapy sessions, promoting positive behavior and skill development. Collaborate with families, educators, and other professionals to ensure consistency in behavioral strategies across settings. Maintain accurate medical records and documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations. Participate in training sessions and professional development opportunities to enhance your skills in behavioral therapy. Experience The ideal candidate will possess the following skills and qualifications: Experience or knowledge in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) techniques. Background in special education or related fields is preferred. Familiarity with medical terminology and diagnostic evaluation processes. Understanding of patient care practices within a behavioral health context. Experience working with children, particularly those with developmental or behavioral challenges. Knowledge of HIPAA regulations regarding patient confidentiality and medical records management.
