Facility is allowed to call off 1 shift per 2 weeks. Called off hours can be broken down to add up to 1 shiftHospital HighlightsThe Main Operating Room is within a level-one, academic trauma center. There are 21- OR suites which cover all surgical specialties, to include; Trauma, Transplant, Ortho, Neuro, ENT, GU-GYN, and Robotics. Please know that you may be expected to staff the full variety of cases that the Main OR supports. The nursing teams consists of 75% Registered Nurses and 25% Certified Surgical Technologist. RN s are trained to both scrub and circulate surgical procedures. The Main OR is a busy and dynamic nurse driven, Magnet designated department, that provides cutting-edge technology to the citizens of SC.

#Tier2 Travel ComplianceRTO is due at time of submission. RTO after submission will not be accepted. Please ensure your traveler does not have any time off planned that will prevent them from completing pre-start compliance on time for the proposed start date. SSN is required to submit.

Local Rule:

MUSC prioritizes non-local candidates first. Radius rule is 60 miles. Locals will be considered at local ratePrevious perm staff(this includes PRN) must be separated from the MUSC system for 1 year before returning as a traveler.

South Carolina RN License:

MUSC will prioritize candidates that have SC license in hand. We will still consider candidates with a pending license at the time of submission please provide proof that they have applied for the license or confirm that they can complete the SC walk-through process. Traveler will not be cleared to report to the facility until SC license is issued/active.

RTO GUIDELINE FOR AUTO OFFERS

If a candidate is a clinical PASS, the account manager can auto offer a traveler that has 7 days or less of

NON-HOLIDAY RTO.

Any candidate that has 7+ days and/or includes holidays will have to be submitted to the facility for approval and can delay the processWe can only submit to one MUSC unit/campus at a time. If you do submit to multiple job IDs, please mention in the submission what their top choice is.
