Job Responsibilities
Provides Patient Care Technician program instruction, to include CNA, Phlebotomy, and Patient Care Practices and Techniques courses. Provides curriculum development and assessment assistance, care of facilities, equipment and other details pertinent to the program. May teach in the day, evening, on-campus (all campuses), as well as alternative delivery methods (internet, hybrid, etc). Knowledge of academic management, positive interpersonal skills, effective and correct oral and written communication skills.

Knowledge in the following areas:

principles and procedures pertaining to higher education especially teaching methodologies, standard business practices and accepted protocol for areas of responsibility, and college mission, goals and objectives. Ability to supervise and coordinate student activities and establish good working relationships with colleagues and businesses. CNA teaching experience is preferred. Must have the ability to work effectively and independently with minimal supervision. Valid SC drivers’ license required. This position is located on the Midlands Technical College Airport Campus.
Minimum and Additional Requirements
Associate’s Degree in Nursing with three (3) years of RN nursing experience including at least one (1) year in long term care nursing. Preferred Qualifications
