The ideal candidate will be responsible for responding to emergency calls, performing triage, and delivering critical care to patients in various settings, including hospitals and trauma centers. This role requires a strong commitment to patient care and the ability to work effectively under pressure. Duties Respond promptly to emergency calls and assess the situation to determine the necessary course of action. Perform triage on patients to prioritize treatment based on the severity of their conditions. Administer basic life support (BLS) and advanced life support as needed, including medication administration and venipuncture. Transport patients safely while monitoring their vital signs and providing ongoing care during transit. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals in a hospital or emergency room setting, including Level I and Level II Trauma Centers. Maintain accurate patient records and documentation of all treatments administered and observations made during emergency responses. Assist with heavy lifting of patients and equipment as required during emergencies. Participate in ongoing training and education to stay current with best practices in emergency medicine. Experience Previous experience as an EMT or in a related field is preferred but not mandatory. Familiarity with emergency medicine protocols, triage procedures, and medication administration techniques is highly desirable. Ability to perform under pressure in fast-paced environments such as hospitals or trauma centers. Strong communication skills for effective interaction with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
