Patient Care Technician DevCare Solutions Pvt., Ltd. 404 Adair Road, Nashville, TN 37214 Summary As a Patient Care Technician, you will be integral in delivering high-quality patient care within a dynamic healthcare environment. Reporting to the nursing staff, your role encompasses providing support in pediatric critical and intensive care, as well as outpatient settings. You will utilize your core skills in emergency and hospital medicine, alongside premium expertise in PICU and geriatrics, to assist in patient assessments and treatments. Your relevant experience in inpatient and post-acute care will ensure that patients receive compassionate and effective care throughout their healthcare journey. Join our dedicated team to make a meaningful impact on patient outcomes. Responsibilities Provide direct patient care, including monitoring vital signs and assisting with daily activities. Collaborate with healthcare teams in Level I and II Trauma Centers to support patient treatment plans. Assist in emergency and hospital medicine procedures, ensuring patient comfort and safety. Document patient information accurately and participate in teaching hospital initiatives. Support geriatric and pediatric patients in various care settings, including inpatient and outpatient environments. Qualifications Certification as a Patient Care Technician or equivalent experience Strong knowledge of hospital medicine and emergency medicine Experience in Level I and Level II Trauma Centers Familiarity with PICU and OR procedures Background in geriatrics and medical-surgical care Experience in inpatient, outpatient, and post-acute care settings Ability to work in a teaching hospital and provide patient education
