Performs IV starts and urinary foley catheter insertions, according to competency guidelines.
Reports to:
Director of CCU Minimum Education High school diploma or equivalent – Required State Certified Nurse Aide, can be considered without High school diploma or equivalent Patient Care Technician education – Preferred Required Skills Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action. Computer proficiency required
