CLINICAL PROGRAM DIRECTOR II

University of Alabama at Birmingham The Department of Neurology seeks to hire a Clinical Program Director II position. The position serves as the division administrator for the Division of Epilepsy and is responsible for the division’s administrative, financial, and operational management/oversight. Duties include, but are not limited to, financial transactions, review, and reconciliation, Epilepsy Clinic operations (template modifications, closures, etc.), and administrative support for Epilepsy faculty and staff. Key Roles & Responsibilities Directs the operations of a programmatic function. Operates with a high degree of independence. Responsible for program development, content, and administration. Establishes program objectives, manages programmatic fiscal activities, supervises staff engaged in carrying out program activities, and may require grant writing and/or other abilities to secure program funding. Prepares various reports for the program. Knowledge, Skills, Abilities & Work Characteristics Financial experience and clinical or administrative experience in an academic medical setting, A business, finance, or administration degree is preferred.

Salary Range:

$60,835 – $98,855

Qualifications Education:

Bachelor’s degree in a related field and five (5) years of related experience required. Work experience may NOT substitute for the education requirement.
