This includes managing staff, finances, patient records, and compliance with healthcare regulations, while also focusing on optimizing patient care and experience. Duties Supervising and mentoring office staff, including hiring, training, and performance evaluations. Managing staff scheduling, time off, and payroll. Ensuring a positive work environment. Coordinating patient appointments and ensuring efficient patient flow Managing patient registration and medical records. Maintaining patient confidentiality and HIPAA compliance. Identifying areas for improvement in workflow and operational efficiency. Contributing to the development of long-range plans for the practice. Communicating effectively with physicians, staff, patients, and other stakeholders. Resolving administrative and operational problems, including IT issues. Requirements Certified Medical Administrative Assistant (CMAA) Three years of experience in a medical office, specifically in cardiology or a related field (like CCU, ICU, or primary care). Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a focus on phone etiquette when interacting with patients and Experience in schedule management to ensure efficient patient flow within the practice. Proven ability to supervise staff effectively while fostering a positive work environment. Commitment to ongoing training development for self and team members to enhance clinical practices.
