Patient Care Coordinator RN – Urology Clinic (Dr. Shashy) 3.7 3.7 out of 5 stars 1725 Pine Street, Montgomery, AL 36106 The Patient Care Coordinator RN is responsible for management of patient care under direction of, Urologist, Peter Shashy, MD. The RN will oversee patient care in the physician office setting including plan of care, urological procedures, training of medical assistants, ordering of essential supplies, and overseeing scheduling of patients. This RN must be able to multi-task effectively in a busy urological practice setting
Requirements:
High school diploma, Associates or Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing. Active Alabama Registered Nursing License. Minimum of 5 years’ experience in physician office management in a multi-specialty setting preferred. Active Alabama Registered Nursing License. Multi-line telephones, fax, computer, printer, copier, credit card equipment, typewriter, adding machine, billing and coding reference materials. Excellent verbal and written communication required, telephone etiquette, customer relations’ skills, CPT and ICD Coding. Computer literate. Manual dexterity and visual acuity necessary to utilize the PC and calculator; ability to sit for prolonged periods of time; verbal communication and hearing ability to communicate with a multitude of patients and customers, Ability to lift 25 pounds without difficulty.
