Patient Care Coordinator OZ Orthodontics Fayetteville, AR 72703 About Us OZ Orthodontics is a new orthodontic and orofacial pain practice recently opened in Fayetteville, Arkansas. This up-and-coming practice seeks to serve Northwest Arkansas with the highest quality care, affordable treatment options, and enjoyable patient experiences mindful of the whole patient. OZ Orthodontics — named in honor of the Ozark Mountains — is owned and operated by Dr. Jame Roblee, an NWA native and one of the only dual specialists in the country board-certified in both orthodontics and orofacial pain. The OZO team is small but mighty — a close-knit, hard-working group with “can-do” positive attitudes and learner’s mindsets. The Job The OZ Orthodontics patient care coordinator is mission critical to the organization — responsible for guiding potential patients through their treatment and payment options, converting them to active patients, and supporting them throughout their OZO journey. This individual must enjoy working with people and possess superb communication and organizational skills, plus a customer service mentality. Duties include assisting the doctor during new patient consults, onboarding new patients and welcoming them to the office, coordinating their treatment plans (including communication with collaborating doctors), presenting and following through with payment plans, and much more. As OZ Orthodontics is a brand-new practice, we’re seeking ultra-reliable, dedicated individuals, ready to roll up their sleeves and help us build an exciting and fun workplace from the ground up. Qualifications, Skills & Aptitudes Completion of high school or GED Prior orthodontic, dental, or healthcare experience preferred, but not required Aptitude for learning to “speak” orthodontics — ability to guide new patients through what to expect over the course of their treatment as well as ability to coordinate with doctor(s) on the case Impeccable communication skills, both written and oral Effective time manager with strong organization skills and attention to detail A proven multi-tasker — ability to manage and follow through on a wide range of duties while ensuring the utmost level of customer service Aptitude for learning new technologies, computers and software Aptitude for financials — responsible for presenting payment plan options, securing and following through with payments Ability to “sell” — to convert potential patients to active patients with confidence and a sincere wish to help Outgoing personality who enjoys fostering relationships with patients and families Most importantly, collaborative, adaptable team player with positive attitude, willingness to learn new things, and passion for patient care!
