Summary:

The Clinical Supervisor of Withdrawal Management and the Intensive Program is responsible for overseeing the Withdrawal Management and Intensive daily clinical operations, working collaboratively with the leadership team and within the Intercommunity’s systems of care to ensure best client outcomes.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

Manage day to day clinical functioning of Withdrawal Management and Intensive Programs. Adhere to agency policies and procedures maintains agency confidentiality guidelines. Collaborate with Coordinator of Internship and HR to manage internship program Monitor and evaluate work performed by subordinates Investigate and respond to critical incidents, processes incident reports, and implements related action plans after management review Management of the clinical schedule Completion of payroll for clinical staff Oversee department production/utilization and documentation Perform regular audits of clinical documentation Participate in program/agency meetings and performance improvement teams Assure compliance with quality assurance findings and recommendations Promote diversity in workplace and ensure client rights Provide clinical treatment services in form of triage, crisis intervention, assessment, individual, group and/or family therapy, screening and planning, completing related proper documentation Provide back-up clinical coverage as needed Documents in the clinical record within 24 hours Works collaboratively with the treatment teams from all residential programs to ensure best client outcomes Identifies, plans, implements and evaluates training and development of staff in response to identified needs, including on call support when necessary Reviews all program incident reports and facilitates the investigation, action plan, and retraining if needed Performs related duties as assigned

Requirements:
Educations &/Or Experience:

A Licensed Clinician with at least 2 years experience in management and 2 years facilitating individual and group psychotherapy. Master’s Degree in Behavioral Health discipline from an Accredited University and advanced Licensure in the State of Connecticut as a Clinical Social Worker, Professional Counselor, Marriage and Family Therapist, Psychologist (LCSW, LPC, LMFT) with 2 years of experience in a recovery-oriented system of care in a behavioral health setting.
