Job Description
Surgical Coordinator 3.4 3.4 out of 5 stars 166 Waterbury Road, Prospect, CT 06712 Busy Ophthalmology office located in Prospect, CT has a part time Surgical Coordinator position available. Individual will be responsible for scheduling patients at various surgical centers and hospitals as well as providing instructions to patients in regards to surgery and costs associated with the surgery. The Surgical Coordinator is also responsible for calling insurance companies to verify patients insurance to provide an estimated cost if necessary. At this time patients are being scheduled in person and via phone. Applicant must possess good time management skills, detail oriented and punctual. Must possess strong interpersonal skills in order to communicate effectively with patients, coworkers, management, Physicians and surgical center/hospitals. Experience with an EHR system a plus. 2 -3 days per week. Pay based on experience.
