Job Description

Assistant Clinical Director of ABA Services 3.4 3.4 out of 5 stars Torrington, CT 06790 • Hybrid work

Overview:

The Assistant Clinical Director plays a key leadership role in managing day-to-day clinical operations while supporting the Clinical Director. This hybrid position combines staff supervision, quality assurance, and hands-on clinical work. The role is flexible and performance-based, with in-person expectations aligned with clinic needs and KPIs.

Key Responsibilities:
Clinical Supervision:

Support and guide BCBAs and RBTs through supervision, mentorship, and performance reviews. Conduct regular clinical meetings and case reviews. Supervise fieldwork hours for BCBA candidates.

Quality & Compliance:

Ensure treatment fidelity, data integrity, and ethical service delivery. Oversee documentation and quality assurance initiatives. Stay current on ABA best practices and integrate into staff training.

Caseload & Modeling:

Maintain a small, strategic caseload to model excellence in service delivery. Balance clinical responsibilities with leadership duties.

Hiring & Onboarding:

Participate in hiring, interviewing, and training of clinical team members. Support staff onboarding and role readiness.

Collaboration & Communication:

Foster a collaborative, team-oriented environment. Communicate with families and leadership to ensure client satisfaction. Align clinical efforts with organizational goals and KPIs.

Qualifications:

Master’s in ABA, Psychology, or related field BCBA certification (required) 3+ years post-certification experience, with leadership preferred Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills Comfortable working in a hybrid model with performance-based expectations Passion for improving the lives of individuals with autism and related needs

Job Type:
Full-time Pay:

$80,500.00 – $85,000.00 per year
