EXPERIENCES
/ Responsible for planning and executing event and experiential marketing programs. •Our headquarters is in Stamford, CT, but the location of this position can be in Stamford, CT or New York City, NY.•Please note this is a fixed-term contract position through May 31, 2026. Contract positions with Octagon are not benefits-eligible. We are looking for an Experiential Manager to support our client’s fast-moving, hosted experiences program and its ongoing event portfolio. In this role, you will be the on-site lead, managing logistics for a high volume and wide variety of intimate events, engaging diverse hosts and guests in New York metro areas. You’ll be responsible for coordinating select pre-production elements, as well as day of event logistics, staff and host management, ensuring timely feedback, and upholding a “gold standard” experience for all participants. From high-profile talent and athletes to local cultural experts, you’ll play a key role in bringing a diverse range of exciting experiences to life!
THE WORK YOU’LL DO
Oversee the on-site execution of the client’s hosted experiences portfolio in assigned markets. Support with pre-event logistics planning for event readiness.
On-site management of event staff including, brand ambassadors to ensure exceptional guest and host service.
Help monitor and track event spends to stay within budget. Cultivate strong relationships with client, internal teams, external partners, vendors, and venues for seamless event execution.
Provide detailed feedback and analysis on event effectiveness, offering recommendations for future improvements.
Assist with logistics and planning including asset management, briefing calls, staff trainings,
Offer insights and recommendations for enhancing future events.
Work closely with local teams to resolve issues in real-time and deliver a “white glove” service to all guests.

WHO WE’RE LOOKING FOR
4+ years in event or brand marketing, with a proven track record in producing events, particularly B-2-C, high-end or luxury experiences
Hands-on experience in executing large and small-scale events, including managing staffing agencies, assets management, and coordinating logistics
Exceptional ability to juggle multiple projects at once, ensuring timely and high-quality execution
Demonstrated success in building and maintaining strong, trusting relationships with clients and key stakeholders
Experience with managing event budgets and reconciling expenses
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to clearly convey ideas and collaborate effectively with clients, vendors, and team members
A “can-do” attitude with the ability to anticipate challenges and proactively find solutions
Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
Ability to travel domestically, including weekends or holidays as needed (anticipated travel: Low, 10-15%) The base range (annualized) for this position is $70,000.
