Position Overview:
The Medical Assistant / Back Office Coordinator (MA/OC) is a working Medical Assistant who supervises staff in the Primary Care Division while providing clinical and administrative support to physicians and advanced care providers. The ideal candidate will be a role model for clinical staff , promoting teamwork, integrity, and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities:
Supervise, train, and coordinate Medical Assistant staff Ensure compliance with OSHA, CLIA, and HIPAA regulations Oversee patient services and maintain high standards of care and satisfaction Assist with patient care, including vital signs, EKGs, wound care, and medication administration Monitor and review patient charts for accuracy and completeness Triage and respond to patient communications, refill medications per provider approval Manage scheduling, workflow, and timecard approvals for MA staff Oversee supply ordering, vaccine management, and safety protocols Support the onboarding of new providers and MA students Coordinate and monitor population health initiatives and quality assurance measures
Qualifications:

✅ Medical Assistant, LPN, or similar certification

✅ Minimum 3-5 years of experience in a medical or hospital setting
