The ideal candidate will be responsible for advising and directing health insurance policies to individuals and businesses, providing excellent customer service, and building strong client relationships. This role involves educating potential clients on various health insurance options, conducting needs assessments, and assisting with the application process, ensuring clients choose the most appropriate coverage.
Responsibilities Sales and Client Acquisition:
Identify and pursue new business opportunities, build and maintain relationships with clients, and manage a pipeline of potential clients.
Needs Assessment and Policy Explanation:
Thoroughly assess client needs and recommend suitable health insurance products, explaining the features, benefits, and limitations of each policy.
Application Processing:
Assist clients with the application process, ensuring accuracy and completeness of information, and submitting applications to insurance companies.
Post-Sale Support:
Provide ongoing support to clients, answering questions, addressing concerns, and assisting with policy renewals and modifications.
Industry Knowledge and Compliance:
Stay up-to-date on changes in the health insurance industry, regulations, and product offerings, ensuring compliance with all applicable rules and regulations.
Collaboration and Teamwork:
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including underwriting and customer service, to provide comprehensive insurance solutions.
Sales Goals and Targets:
Achieve and exceed individual and team sales goals and targets.
Reporting and Record Keeping:
Maintain accurate records of client interactions, transactions, and sales performance.
Experience Technical Skills:
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and familiarity with CRM systems or sales software is a plus.
