Duties Assist healthcare providers with patient examinations and procedures. Administer medications as prescribed and monitor patient responses. Provide care for patients with specific needs, including dementia care and diabetes management. Support cardiology patients by preparing them for examinations and assisting with diagnostic tests. Conduct routine checks on neonatal ventilator equipment when necessary. Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in compliance with healthcare regulations. Educate patients on health management, including public health initiatives and senior care practices. Collaborate with various departments, including radiology, to ensure comprehensive patient care. Uphold safety protocols within a Level I Trauma Center environment. Skills Proficient in medication administration and understanding of pharmaceutical guidelines. Experience in home care settings, providing compassionate support to patients. Knowledge of dementia care techniques and best practices for managing cognitive impairments. Familiarity with diabetes care protocols and monitoring techniques. Ability to assist in cardiology-related procedures and understand related equipment. Experience working with neonatal ventilators is a plus. Strong understanding of public health principles and their application in clinical settings. Ability to thrive in a Level I Trauma Center, demonstrating quick decision-making skills under pressure.
