Youth Crisis Center Inc – 3.3 Jacksonville, FL Job Details Full-time $60,000 – $65,000 a year 1 day ago Qualifications Crisis intervention LMHC Management Crisis management Licensed Clinical Social Worker Outpatient Master’s degree Bachelor’s degree Case management 1 year Senior level Leadership Full Job Description Position Overview The Clinical Manager is responsible for the administration, planning, provision, consultation, and evaluation Transitional Living Program, House of Hope, and Residential Therapists services, including training and supervision of multidisciplinary professionals. The Clinical Manager directly supervises the therapists of the Residential program and all clinical components necessary for HOH and TSV, including coordinating care with assigned client therapists in Outpatient Behavioral Health. The Clinical Manager will also supervise bachelor’s and master’s level interns. Additionally, the Clinical Manager will maintain small caseload in the Outpatient Behavioral Health program. Position Duties and Responsibilities Occupation specific tasks and the most important generalized work activities are listed for Clinical Manager. Ensure that programs deliver high quality services and training that are consistent with the agency mission, that supervision of staff is ethically sound, and that services provided are legally and ethically appropriate. Lead, manage, coach, mentor, train, and develop employees to become highly effective in their roles to provide high quality services as well as, meet their specific program and role requirements. Supervise undergraduate and graduate-level social work and/or counseling interns, including providing consultation and evaluation. In conjunction with the Compliance Department, ensure compliance with all standards and regulations established by funders and regulators. Ensure program staff are meeting quality assurance standards (including training requirements), as required by the Florida Network, Department of Juvenile Justice, Department of Children and Families, Jacksonville Children’s Commission, United Way, ACHA, Managed Medical Assistance companies as well as, the accrediting organization of COA. In conjunction with the Human Resources Department, participate in interviewing, hiring, corrective action, and performance evaluations of all supervised staff. To facilitate communication and teamwork, meet on a regular basis with staff (together and/or separately) to discuss agency developments, address issues, solicit ideas for quality improvement, and provide training on operational issues. Provide training in designated subjects for new and existing employees; provide individual training and supervision to interns; participate in formal and informal training of non-residential staff and residential staff. Evaluate the effectiveness of programs and clients’ progress in resolving identified problems and moving towards defined objectives by utilizing the individualized service delivery plan in keeping with the purpose of the program. Provide therapeutic services to clients under the Outpatient Behavioral Health program and maintain records in accordance with AHCA/Medicaid standards and Council on Accreditation. Assist Housing Manager when needed by reviewing clinical documentation, including completing risk assessments. Responsible for completion of training objectives within established timeframes. Participate in on-call rotation with other Managers for all agency programs. All other duties assigned.
Education and Experience:
Must be licensed in the State of Florida as a LMHC or LCSW with a Master’s degree from an accredited college or university recognized by the Florida Department of Education; must be a Qualified Supervisor with the FL Board for licensure; minimum of five (5) years of experience in clinical service delivery and minimum of one (2) years of leadership experience required. Experience in the provision of services under Medicaid required. Experience with Electronic Health Records highly preferred. Mathematical Skills and Reasoning Ability Basic and/or advanced computational skills may be necessary. Physical Demands This position requires walking, standing, about 30% of the time and sitting approximately 70% of the time. Little to moderate lifting of less than 25 lbs. may be required. Work Environment While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally exposed to outside weather conditions. The noise level in the work environment is usually low to moderate. Monday – Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
