These activities ensure the quality of our students learning experience during clinical education.
Clinical Coordinators accomplish this through:
Assists with the development and assessment of the clinical education component of the curriculum with the Program Director. Coordination and implementation of the clinical education component of the curriculum including site placements, site visits, and evaluation. Responsible for facilitating students’ clinical education. Responsible for ensuring clinical education program compliance.
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND TRAINING
Minimum of a bachelor’s degree Minimum of three (3) years of full time (or equivalent) post-licensure clinical experience Minimum of two (2) years of experience as a center coordinator of clinical education (CCCE) and/or clinical instructor (CI), or (2) years of experience in teaching, curriculum development, and administration in a PT or PTA program Current, unrestricted Florida licensed Physical therapist or Physical therapy assistant
