Job Purpose:
The purpose of the Patient Intake Evaluation Coordinator I position is to triages phone calls as necessary. Responsible for answering phone calls and scheduling patient appointments for the Ocenture, LLC Telehealth Services.

Duties & Responsibilities:
The Intake Coordinator is responsible for obtaining new patient referrals from healthcare providers, physicians, and patient self-referrals This position requires a strong team player to ensure that each patient receives the best service possible. Engage and follow up with patient inquiries after initial contact with the provider. Discuss costs of service and payment options with patients as necessary during the inquiry stage Ensure billing obtains authorizations before appointments for consults. Coordinate appropriate involvement of all the Ocenture staff to ensure that each patient receives the best service possible. Maintain positive relationships with patients to provide patients with up-to-date information, appropriate education, and the best experience possible. General office duties. Perform other duties as assigned.
