As a Director of Plant Operations you will: Responsible for ensuring the physical plant meets all The Joint Commission, CMS, NFPA and state regulations to ensure the safety of patients, staff and visitors. Performs all scheduled inspections, testing, and drills, as required by state, federal government, The Joint Commission and NFPA. Documents these and reports outcomes to Safety Committee in a timely manner. Director ensures the maintenance of a safe, functional, and clean physical environment for patients, employees and guests. Responsible for overseeing standards and procedures of food preparation, menu development, service, equipment, sanitation, infection control, and employee safety. Ensures quality of menu, food, and service. Prepares, orders, and ensures accurate and sufficient inventory. Keeps facility compliant with all health department, TJC, state, and federal regulations. Qualifications As a Director of Plant Operations you will have: Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration/Accounting, Health Administration, Public Administration, Basic Science or a related field preferred. CPR certification and Crisis Prevention Training (CPI) within 30 days. May be required to work flexible hours and overtime. Three years of related administrative, managerial and/or supervisory experience in plant operations in a hospital setting. Strong understanding of regulatory requirements.
