Minimum of two years’ experience in facility maintenance & logistics Excellent communication, time management and organizational skills Proficient computer skills for Microsoft Office products Experience working with and managing volunteers Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team Excellent customer service ethics and high expectations for quality
Responsibilities:
Coordinate logistics and assist with event operations for Special Olympics Florida (SOFL) State level sport competitions and Healthy Athletes events Provide assistance with unloading and loading vehicles for competitions and events Support all set up and break down at Special Olympics Florida state events Provide assistance in maintaining the office, warehouse and attic, including cleaning and organization Oversee ordering of cleaning supplies Operate company vehicles (F150, box truck, NV200, etc.) to bring to events and warehouse. Oversee fleet vehicle service appointments, cleaning, etc. Perform preventative maintenance in and around facilities Inventory all supplies and equipment after each Healthy Athlete screening, detecting repairs needed and new supplies to be ordered Oversight of Healthy Athletes equipment and supplies at storage site on property Sort out equipment and supplies for each area and state screening Keep supply bins stocked for all 8 venues for medical and office administrative supplies, and up-to-date copies of all forms needed for portable screening file boxes Make logistical arrangements for competitions and health screenings including but not limited to hotels, food, and table, tent and chair rental Assist with data entry for Healthy Athletes as time allows Assist with copying materials and arranging file boxes for each screening Other duties as assigned
Special Requirements:
Attendance required Mon-Fri, 9AM to 5PM, with nights and weekends as needed to execute events Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
