Medical Office Insurance Coordinator Tallahassee Ear Nose & Throat 1405 Centerville Road, Tallahassee, FL 32308 We have an opportunity for a motivated individual to coordinate patient insurance verification and serve as support for the Business Office team through the following key responsibilities: Calls to insurance carriers and use of on-line insurance websites to confirm insurance eligibility and benefits for all patients and documentation in patient’s demographics of these benefits. Obtain authorizations for out-of-network insurances when needed. Assist with incoming patient calls and front office insurance inquiries / questions. Assist with all Business Office tasks / responsibilities. Our ideal candidate will have the following qualifications: At least two years’ medical office experience Demonstrated knowledge of insurance benefits and benefit verification and authorization process Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and web-based applications Self-starter with exceptional customer service and communication skills Ability to stay focused in a fast-paced environment, manage time efficiently, and multi-task Ability to work well in a stressful environment and in situations that demand patience If you are interested in playing a part in a growing, fast-paced practice that provides a challenging and rewarding environment, please submit your resume.
