Position Summary:
The Dental Practice Administrator (DPA) is the onsite point of contact (POC) for clinical and administrative operations, reporting to their Regional Manager (RM). The DPA is responsible for the overall success of his or her dental office through the implementation of company policy and procedure, the management and support of team members, and the unwavering dedication to fostering a culture of respect, communication, and team-work. The DPA is ultimately responsible for personnel staffing at the facility level, working with the Talent Acquisition Specialist (TAS) and RM to ensure timely interviewing, hiring and training of new team members. The DPA manages all front office duties including but not limited to: Model outstanding patient service as well as written, verbal and all other communication outlets Schedule optimization Staff supervision and progressive performance management Coach and mentor staff; identify strengths & weaknesses to assure the highest quality patient experience Timely and effective communication to/from Headquarters and to/from the patients Treatment Planning for optimal case acceptance Doctor commission reporting and oversight The DPA takes ownership of their practice in the following ways: Assists with program/project design activities, strategy development, problem resolution, and project implementation. Maintains patient confidentiality, and confidentiality of medical records, in compliance with the Privacy Act and HIPAA regulations in all work activities. Adheres to and maintains awareness of all Policies, Procedures, Directives, Operational Memoranda and accreditation standards as prescribed by identified authority. Adheres to and participates in Safety, Prevention, Infection and Control, Quality Improvement, Education and other programs and collateral duties as appropriate. Attends and participates in both general and clinical staff meetings as appropriate – whether remotely or offsite. Partners with Associates to promote cohesive clinical and administrative leadership Focuses on increasing revenue and practice profitability; control costs to meet or exceed monthly budget
Qualifications & Position Requirements:
Minimum three (3) years of dental supervisory experience, with strong business acumen and people-management skills. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills required; Comprehension of DISC profiling and utilization in communication preferred. Ability to attract and retain a talented team. Ability to problem-solve; critical thinking skills. Ability to adapt to sudden changes in schedules and/or working requirements. Ability to establish and maintain positive working relationships in a multidisciplinary and diverse environment. Ability to navigate in an electronic work environment including electronic health records, web-based training, and various dental softwares. Knowledge of and functional proficiency in common Microsoft Office programs, including Outlook and Teams. Knowledge of OSHA and HIPAA Compliance standards. Strong knowledge of dental insurance and billing procedures.

$60,000.00 – $70,000.00 per year
