Bilingual Patient Helper Enrollment Coordinator Chasm Partners Miami, FL 33136 Bilingual Patient Helper / Enrollment Coordinator ChasmTeam is partnering with a rapidly growing national healthcare services company to build a team that provides real benefits to patients. We are seeking hardworking, self-starters who enjoy a challenge and are passionate about making a meaningful impact in the healthcare space. We are currently hiring a Bilingual Enrollment Coordinator to support patients at Jackson Memorial Hospital in Miami by enrolling eligible hospital patients into the HIPP program. This individual will clearly present program requirements, advocate for patients, and help high-cost and medically complex Medicaid beneficiaries access employer-sponsored health insurance through this Medicaid-supported program. All Enrollment Coordinators will be provided with a brand-new iPhone and MacBook to support their work onsite. This is a full time permanent position with a Monday-Friday schedule.

Key Responsibilities:

Patient Engagement Educate patients and their families about HIPP in a clear, concise, and compassionate manner Assess family dynamics and determine the best approach for engagement Collect appropriate authorizations and required documentation to begin casework Program Enrollment Accurately gather employer and insurance details necessary for THIP applications Troubleshoot and resolve issues to ensure timely application completion Collaborate with the internal team to support successful program enrollment Ongoing Program Support Explain coordination of benefits between employer-sponsored insurance and Medicaid Maintain ongoing eligibility for enrolled patients by gathering updated documentation Assist with resolution of any insurance-related issues if requested Technology Use proprietary software to manage patient referrals and documentation Work on-site using an Apple iPad, iPhone, and MacBook to process enrollments across various hospital locations Client Coordination Serve as the primary on-site contact for the program Build strong relationships with patients, hospital staff, and other key personnel Qualifications Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Nursing, Education, Psychology, or related field preferred Minimum of five years of hospital-based or patient-facing experience strongly preferred Bilingual English/Spanish required Must pass hospital credentialing including vaccinations, drug, and alcohol screening Desired Skills & Attributes Positive, enthusiastic, and resilient with a strong work ethic Exceptional communication and persuasion skills Experience with healthcare, Medicaid, and patient advocacy Detail-oriented with strong documentation and data entry abilities Empathetic and patient-centered mindset Ability to quickly build trust and collaborate with diverse stakeholders Comfortable handling rejection and navigating complex scenarios independently
