We are seeking an Exceptional Medical Office Manager to join our thriving and still growing practice and lead our team to new heights of efficiency, patient satisfaction, and revenue generation.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead, inspire, and manage our administrative and clinical support teams to ensure the office operates smoothly and efficiently Foster and innovate harmonious interactions among all team members-both clinical and non-clinical-to create a collaborative and positive work environment. Effectively handle difficult employee interactions and conflicts, guiding the team to the best possible outcomes and managing a culture of respect and professionalism. Oversee the recruitment, hiring, training, and ongoing management of office personnel. Respond to concerns raised by physicians, employees, and patients, and collaborate with appropriate leaders to facilitate effective problem-solving and drive continuous process improvement. Develop the practice’s budget , evaluate profit and loss responsibility of the physician practice which will include revenue, expenses and budget. Accurately complete payroll and maintain meticulous employee records. Collaborate in the development, implementation, and enforcement of office protocols and procedures. Identify and implement innovative strategies to improve workflow, patient experience, and office revenue. Take ownership of insurance verification processes, ensuring accuracy and efficiency. Maximize insurance revenue generation by staying current on payer requirements and optimizing billing practices. Make sure that front desk staff answer the phones and return calls appropriately. Oversee insurance verification practices, co-payment collections and proper ways to maximize insurance revenue generation. Implement quality measures like HEDIS/5-Start ratings. Assure that practice collects any additional revenues generated by following these measures. Monitor key performance indicators and report regularly to practice leadership. Foster a culture of continuous improvement, teamwork, and exceptional patient care.
Qualifications:
Minimum 3 years of experience as a Medical Office Manager or similar healthcare leadership role. Proven expertise in insurance verification and insurance revenue cycle management. Strong leadership and team-building skills with a track record of developing high-performing teams. Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving abilities. Proficiency with EHR systems and medical office software. Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Business, or related field preferred. Bilingual in English and Spanish required.
