The Surgical Coordinator is committed to guiding the patient through the surgical process in a warm and comforting manner. They support the patient journey throughout the surgical process, from education, scheduling surgical and pre/post-operative visits, and assisting the patients while preparing for surgical treatments. No experience necessary – Willing to train the right person!

Requirements:

Basic understanding of Medical Terminology (preferably ophthalmology) Excellent verbal and written communication skills Ability to interact with patients and employees in a courteous, professional manner at all times Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail Ability to multi-task and function well in a high-paced and at times stressful environment

Requirements Education and Experience:

High School Diploma or equivalent Minimum of one year of experience in similar role preferred COA or COT certification is preferred
