7 3.7 out of 5 stars Orlando, FL 32819 Certified Orthotist acting as a Clinical and Technical expert in the field of neuro orthotics focusing on clinical education of customers and internal staff and clinically supporting the custom fabrication of neuro orthotics to ensure high quality outcomes for treated patients.
Responsibilities:
Clinical Education Assist in developing the curriculum for Neuro Orthotics external education including practitioner courses, on-line learning, national assemblies, regional and state meetings and in-facility trainings following guidance from Fior & Gentz, Germany. Delivers high-level lectures and demonstrations on neuro orthotic products in multiple settings. Maintains relationship with relevant O&P practitioner education programs throughout the US by providing technical support through education and product introductions. Contribute to the development of training programs for internal staff in the Americas. Custom Manufacturing Responsible for training and providing support to manufacturing team members for neuro orthotics. Provide design and technical support for custom orthoses produced in close cooperation with the Fior & Gentz team in Germany. Assist that the clinical processes/designs, including the application of CAD, are completed in a timely and cost
- effective manner.
Assist clinical design and provide technical support for custom products and central fabrication. Conduct quality assurance inspections on incoming and outgoing orders to ensure custom orthoses meet our high-quality standards. Customer Support & Market Feedback Provide clinical/technical support to customers overseeing inquiries, feedback, and complaints. Supports quality programs to ensure positive outcomes and reduce product returns. Attends educational and professional workshops, reviewing professional publications and participating in professional societies. Collaborates with cross functional departments within Ossur and Fior & Gentz organizations such as Clinical Education and Marketing teams in Germany and Global Product Management. Assists the Neuro Orthotic team in the Americas with the go-to market strategy. Perform other duties as requested. Qualifications ABC and/or BOC credentials and eligible for state licensure in Florida Minimum 10 years’ experience in Orthotics Self-motivated and dependable with excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work well as a team member and with internal key opinion leaders. Must be customer, quality and results oriented. Ability to perform in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks in an efficient manner. Experience with CAD software systems and the benefits of their use. Proficiency in mainstream applications; Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook. Excellent communication skills Ability to utilize current digital media networking and computer programs for the purpose of education and support.
